For the record I found the test rather flawed – many of the “questions” struck me as just bizarre, were hard to understand, and many times I thought “is there no Neutral/I Don’t Know option on this one?” I generally describe myself as “moderately conservative”. The “conservatism” tends to come from (a) social issues and (b) distrust of government power. The “moderately” tends to come from (c) strong concern for the environment and (d) concern for social justice and the needs of the poor/disadvantaged.
