Boy I sure hope so. Seriously.
I posted earlier an apology-cum-explanation about the shift from religion to politics on this website. “Live the Trinity” is a dreadful title for a website that has become the last few months primarily about politics – of a rather conservative bent. As if Trinitarian Christian theology somehow implies this or that political viewpoint! As if faithful Christians cannot be good liberal Democrats! I apologized then and apologize again.
Sorry about all the politics.
And I would not be surprised if some of my friends who read this website were thinking “Rick – brother I love it when you preach Sabbath keeping and get into creation theology and lament in the Psalms and missiology and so on but all these political posts are just repulsive”. Well brother or sister – I might agree with you! Should have (1) renamed the site or (2) moved all that to another website in order to separate the politics from the religion.
(I could argue that if BabyBlueOnline can somehow mix politics and religion and the personal in a rather seamless fashion… Ah but she does not have such an openly Christian/Trinitarian name for her blog does she?)
So just a couple last quasi-political posts before I begin to earn back – maybe – all the respect I have lost this year. (That does not mean no more politics. But hopefully an whole lot less.)*
*Yes. An whole lot. Five years in the UK and you try to type a whole lot.
