http://www.christianpost.com/news/i-hate-obama-pastor-draws-protestors-outside-church-40764/

An Arizona pastor who delivered the “Why I Hate Barack Obama” sermon was confronted by about 100 protesters Sunday outside his church near Phoenix.

...

“It’s hard to believe we could have someone of a religious nature
wishing our president was dead,” said protester William Crumb to KNXV-TV
in Phoenix.

## Made up ? I think not. Presumably a pastor who, according to himself, hates Obama, knows what he means by the word. These people do exist. To pray for someone's death & damnation goes far beyond what is usually meant by "strong principled opposition". Though one could call the hatred of the Nazis for the Jews "strong principled opposition". The pastor's "strong principled opposition" to Obama is hate of Obama, nothing less. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Gospel - to try to rescue hate by calling it love only succeeds in dragging rown love until it becomes impossible to distinguish from hate. From such "love", may God defend all of us !

[...] *(I am aware that some dear readers will try to bring up examples. I would ask first how hard one has to look to find any examples of genuinely excessive political speech that says “this person is evil / this person needs to die / we need to take arms and overthrow this government”. Strong principled disagreement is not hate.) [...]
