New Disqus Comments plugin
In a nutshell I want people to be able to leave comments without me having to "approve" them - they appear immediately. But I also want to keep out spam. The anti-spam module for some reason was marking all comments - including my own - as spam. I have since added the Disqus plugin which hopefully will allow anyone with a free Disqus account to be able to leave comments that appear immediately. So far it appears to be working nicely.-

Charles Krauthammer on election of Scott Brown (or) "It couldn't have anything to do with his platform!"
What astonishes me about the election of Scott Brown to the United States Senate – from Massachusetts of all states that Democratic stronghold – is the lengths to which the left (aka “liberals” although a case can be made that … Continue reading

REVIEW – "Moon" (2009)
What does it mean to be human? More specifically what does it mean to be a person? How do we find meaning and purpose in an apparently absurd universe? It boggles my mind that critics could rave about how “Moon” … Continue reading

Defending Senator Henry Reid (but not what he said)
That Senator Harry Reid said some rather bizarre things – about then Candidate Senator Obama being “light skinned” and not speaking with a “Negro dialect” – does not especially upset me. Of course what he said was inappropriate ridiculous and … Continue reading

REVIEW – Inner reflections/contradictions in "Avatar"
I almost did not go to see it. Most of the conservative blogs/websites I follow criticized harshly the movie “Avatar” directed by James Cameron. In a nutshell – that it is a silly and predictable leftist anti-American anti-capitalist rehash of … Continue reading
