New Disqus Comments plugin
In a nutshell I want people to be able to leave comments without me having to "approve" them - they appear immediately. But I also want to keep out spam. The anti-spam module for some reason was marking all comments - including my own - as spam. I have since added the Disqus plugin which hopefully will allow anyone with a free Disqus account to be able to leave comments that appear immediately. So far it appears to be working nicely.-

Obamaviks outside Moscow, takeover of education and banking (or) Morning coffee
Lamar Alexander explains why the federal takeover not only of health care but of the federal student loan program is the “most underreported big-Washington takeover in history”. Why has the cost of higher education risen faster than income? Because thanks … Continue reading
REVIEW – “Glee”
Finally something the entire Wright family enjoys. Yes I admit it. I am addicted to “Glee”. First heard on the radio about this weird quirky show about a show choir at a fictional high school in Ohio. Did not grab … Continue reading

REVIEW – “Stargate Universe”
My wife and I watched “Stargate SG-1″ religiously. Religiously?!? I sorta kinda got into “Stargate Atlantis” after a while. Now we have “Stargate Universe”. Great concept. And some friends said to check it out it’s pretty good. This weekend I … Continue reading

We are the (true) liberals (or) Animal Farm 2010
Language is a bear. Several weeks ago Glenn Beck (yeah yeah I know) at CPAC gave overall a decent presentation in which among other things he attempted to clarify terminology. Like liberal leftist communist Marxist progressive. Argued that the threat … Continue reading

Silence the opposition, divide America, incite racism (or) Morning coffee
Once again how about a quick rundown of articles of note? Another Black Conservative succinctly characterizes efforts to silence all opposition to ObamaCare. More specifically Congress bullying American companies that have the nerve to say how ObamaCare is already impacting … Continue reading

Targuman on Why do Christians need a body?
Everything my friend Chris Brady writes is intelligent and well worth reading. But the spiritual amplifier gets turned up to eleven by his current post “Why do Christians seem to need a body?” Chris aka Dean Brady focuses on the … Continue reading

National sales tax, Presidential lies, manufactured victimhood (or) Morning coffee
Phew! How about just a quick round up of articles that stand out? Charles Krauthammer predicts we will soon have a national sales tax. Which actually would be a very good way to generate government revenue. Except it will be … Continue reading

E J Dionne (almost) gets “conservatism”
Fairness requires that when liberals say or do something praiseworthy we give them credit. Have never been a big fan of E J Dionne who writes for the Washington Post and often appears alongside David Brooks on National Public Radio. … Continue reading

Cars houses and life itself (or) Bad arguments in defense of the health care bill
Like an idiot had the car audio set to “radio” rather than “aux”. So caught 3 minutes of Jim Engster on National Public Radio. *Sigh* Discussing attempts to challenge the new health care legislation – legislation? that itself merits discussion … Continue reading
