Okay – so some of us think that charge of raaaaacism has been abused in order to silence or intimidate political opponents.
That does not mean it doesn’t exist.
Last night “Last Comic Standing”. I understand the humor is not always going to be Safe for Baptists(tm). And Rachel Feinstein was not using the N-word. But I thought the way she portrayed African-Americans crossed the line. I don’t think she is necessarily a racist but rather is trying to be funny. But I was offended. And a little surprised some of the other people on the show did not have looks of horror on their faces after she finished.
Maybe I completely misjudge her material. It begins around 17:55.
