Comment Moderation
I want people to be able to leave comments without anyone having to “approve” them – so they appear immediately. But I also want to keep out spam. The anti-spam module for some reason puts all comments (including my own!) into the spam folder. I have to go in, see a comment in spam, mark it “not spam”, then “approve” it. I have checked and rechecked the WordPress settings and do not understand why it’s not letting people post comments that appear immediately. I apologize for the inconvenience.-

Health Care Summit – finally an open debate
Remember when many conservatives said that Republicans should stay away from the Health Care Summit called for by President Obama? Because it would be a sham? Because the president was not really interested in open debate? Oh. My. Jonah Goldberg … Continue reading

Another blog worth noting – "Afroconservative"
The way the “racism” charge has been thrown around since oh January 2009 has been deeply troubling to me. Just this week was listening to a very enjoyable interview on National Public Radio with singer Dee Dee Bridgewater who mostly … Continue reading

Is this what it takes to attract young Baptists?
From one of the coordinators for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in Louisiana I received by email a link to a recent opinion piece published through the Associated Baptist Press: “Why 20- and 30-year-olds are leaving the Baptist church” by Carra … Continue reading
