New Disqus Comments plugin
In a nutshell I want people to be able to leave comments without me having to "approve" them - they appear immediately. But I also want to keep out spam. The anti-spam module for some reason was marking all comments - including my own - as spam. I have since added the Disqus plugin which hopefully will allow anyone with a free Disqus account to be able to leave comments that appear immediately. So far it appears to be working nicely.-

Silence the opposition, divide America, incite racism (or) Morning coffee
Once again how about a quick rundown of articles of note? Another Black Conservative succinctly characterizes efforts to silence all opposition to ObamaCare. More specifically Congress bullying American companies that have the nerve to say how ObamaCare is already impacting … Continue reading

Capitalism and Christian faith (or) Why Obama is a closet(?) capitalist
I have started listening to more podcasts while driving. Do not care for much of what passes for “music” these days. And often the times I am driving are when NPR is not broadcasting the news. Plus trying to find … Continue reading
Invasion of the Obamatrons (or) Oh it could never happen here!
(Some people will read this and think Rick has really gone off the deep end. Paranoid alarmist and offensive. Fair enough.) There is a thought that troubles me. If (hypothetically of course) you have someone who is a hardcore Marxist … Continue reading
REVIEW – The Great *Assimilation* by Phyllis Tickle (or) Resistance is futile
“Emergent” Christianity resembles the Borg (of Star Trek) to the extent that Phyllis Tickle and her book truly are representative. With one important flaw which I will mention later. Let me state at the outset this is not the “full” … Continue reading
