New Disqus Comments plugin
In a nutshell I want people to be able to leave comments without me having to "approve" them - they appear immediately. But I also want to keep out spam. The anti-spam module for some reason was marking all comments - including my own - as spam. I have since added the Disqus plugin which hopefully will allow anyone with a free Disqus account to be able to leave comments that appear immediately. So far it appears to be working nicely.-

The president’s new high score (or) Morning coffee
Remember Tucson? How heated political rhetoric was somehow responsible for the shootings? How even mentioning targeting could give someone ideas? Remember the fine (seriously) words President Obama spoke at the memorial service? Charles Krauthammer once again helps us understand better … Continue reading

The left divines the soul of the peaceful but not the truly violent
For some reason I have not been terribly interested in commenting on the curious resurgence of terrorist activity within the United States over the past oh 16 months or so. Even though the way politicians journalists and commentators have reacted … Continue reading

Imagine where the angry violent rhetoric really is (or) Morning tea
I am out of coffee. At least I still have Kenyan tea! Been deeply troubled by coverage of the illegal immigration bill in Arizona. I have never had strong feelings one way or the other and still do not. My … Continue reading

Indentured servitude right here in America
I had a most remarkable experience last night. For weeks I have heard on occasion news reports about foreigners being brought to the United States with promises of good paying jobs – the sponsoring “agency” providing safe housing and so … Continue reading
